Distributor Sales Manager – Electronic Components & Fasteners
Location: New Jersey (Metro New York Area)
Experience: Mid Level – Min. 3-Years Distributor Management Exp.
Education Requirement: Bachelors Degree – EE or ME Degree desirable
Travel Required: Yes –30% to 40%
Job Description:
Products supported: Switch and circuit breaker related sealing components, self-sealing fastening hardware for sealing control panels , hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Primary role will be to support  national network of electronic components and industrial distributors. Coordinate with national sales representatives at local level. He/she will be responsible for liaison with distributor branch management, training of  their personnel on APM products and programs, initiate promotions and project support, and  to drive sales and bottom line profitability.  He/she should be a self-starter having the ability to create new programs and implement  policies. He/she must evaluate distributor performance and be able to recognize and develop new market opportunities and networks. This is a hands-on position and requiring  good communications skills, computer skills (Excel & Power Point), and  technical understanding is essential.

Engineer / Quality Control
The appropriate candidate must be self motivated, have the ability to work independently. Proficient engineering & computer drafting skills is a must. Experience with Solid Works 3D is a plus. Experience with molds or die’s is a plus. Candidate must have the ability to use standard inspection equipment. Candidate must be able to work in accordance with Military and ISO9001 standards. Experience in transfer molding a plus.
