New IQ™ Sealing Boots Meet Growing Aesthetic Demands
APM HEXSEAL has announced their new IQ (Installs Quickly) line of Sealing Boots. This new generation of environmental switch and circuit breaker silicone sealing boots is designed for fast retrofitting on existing control panels. The heart of this new sealing system was made possible by a new (patent pending) mounting technique. The IQ Series features an integral bonded concentric (CONCENTRO-NUT™) aluminum nut that screws directly onto and completely surrounds the existing front-panel switch bushing-nut. It also speeds up the mounting time on original equipment assembly.

The IQ Series provides protection to IP66/68 against unforgiving hostile contaminants: salt-spray, ice-buildup, sand, dust, dirt, sunlight, ozone, fungus, most solvents and lubricants, -- virtually any potential contaminant that can invade and corrode the internal contacts and affect the reliability and performance of a non-sealed switch or circuit breaker ...
